Galeries Foundation Karel de Groot Karel de Groot was a real watercolorist and has drawn a lot of portraits of Dutch and French landscapes. Harbors Delfshaven Delfshaven is created in 1389 and belongs to Rotterdam since 1886. Delfshaven is build on the place where the lock to connect the city Delft to the Nieuwe Maas. The port town has a VOC-Dock which has build several ships for expeditions and is a monumental place. Also you can visit the museum ´De Dubbele Palmboom´ where you can learn more about the history of Rotterdam or go to the Pilgrims Church which is a monument of the Americans Pilgrim Fathers.
Oudehaven
Oudehaven is the oldest harbor of Rotterdam it was founded in 1350 and is situated in the centre of Rotterdam, you can go there by feet or train. The Harbor is a popular place where you can find a lot of restaurants with terraces, clubs, cafés and bars. Also the maritime museum and the first dutch skyscraper are nearby.
Museums Boijmans van Beuningen The Boijmans van Beuningen museum is a museum of fine arts in Rotterdam. The museum was founded in 1874 and started with the collection of Frans Jacob Otto Boijmans. Later the collection of Daniel George van Beuningen was added to the museum.
The Boijmans van beuningen museum has a collection that consists out of old to modern artwork. The artwork in the museum exists out of work from many great artists like Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Salvador Dalí.

Maritiem Museum The Maritiem Museum is the the oldest maritime museum in Holland. De basic collection was founded in 1852 by Prince Hendrik and obtains more than a half million objects. The museum is one of the best maritime museums in the world. The museum contains a lot of different pieces and there are many things to do. You can have a look at paintings and drawings of ships and models of ships. Also there is a big naval ship named de buffel which is one of the highlights of the museum.

Attractions The Euromast The highest viewing point of the Netherlands is the Euromast in Rotterdam. The top of the Euromast is 185 meters high so you will have a great view all over the city of Rotterdam. You can get to the top by elevator, there is one superfast elevator but you can also take a normal elevator to get to the top.
Inside the Euromast there is a restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a fantastic view all over the city. If you´re in for an adventure you can go down by abseiling from the top or by plucking.
Visiting hours The Euromast is open from April till September every day from 9.30h. till 23.00h.October till May every day from 10.00h till 23.00h. The platform is opened from 10.00h. till 22.00h; the kitchen is open till 22.15h. and the brasserie till 23.00h.
