Reservation Process
To confirm your reservation request, you will be asked to make a Reservation Down Payment as a guarantee of your booking success.
The amount of this down payment will be stated in the e-mail that is sent to you or as shown online when reserving and is usually around 20-30% of the total amount of your stay excluding all Additional Fees and Refundable Security Deposit.
The total amount of this reservation down payment is to be made by bank transfer or by creditcard to the ENJOY HOLIDAY S.L. bank account (bank information will be sent to you by e-mail). When choosing for a bank transfer, you must send a copy of the bank transfer document to book(AT) enjoy-Apartments.com.
Note that we can only hold a reservation during 24 hours from the date of your reservation request. Please make sure to send us the bankslip during this period since we may cancel your reservation and give the apartment to other people.
Reservation Down Payment
The Reservation Down Payment should be done when booking the apartment on the website. By making a reservation the prospective customer agrees to conclude a contract according to the conditions and will be called from here on client.
Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until Enjoy-Apartments has received the Reservation Down Payment amount and you have received a Booking Confirmation email from Enjoy-Apartments.
Methods of Payment
We accept payment by credit cards (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Amex) and by bank transfer.
Confirmation
When receiving the notification of your bank transfer, we will send you by e-mail our confirmation and will state the total Balance Due Upon Arrival amount. The pending amount should be paid in cash (in Euros) on your arrival at the apartment. We do have the possibility of paying the full amount by banktransfer. Please consult with us should you prefer this. In our confirmation e-mail, we will attach you the exact address of the apartment and give you the name and the number of our private mobile phone to contact upon your arrival or during your stay.
Reservation Change Requests
By sending back a confirmation of booking by Enjoy-Apartments by e-mail, fax or mail a valid contract is made. The client has to verify that all the information in the confirmation email is correct and to notify Enjoy-Apartments within three days of any possible changes. Failure to notify us within this period will mean that the client accepts the reservation as stated. The correction of mistakes due to typing or calculation errors is reserved.
The client is responsible for all obligations, which could arise from the contract and will be responsible for all the persons included in his/her reservation. In case the client wants to make any changes in his/her booking Enjoy-Apartments is in some cases allowed to ask a fee of EUR 25.
Payment Upon Arrival
The outstanding amount must be paid in cash directly to the key-holder on arrival or at a minimum of 45 days prior to arrival. The type of payment is stated for every accommodation before you make the reservation. In some cases, mainly for longer stays, the owner has the right to charge the first month rental upfront before the arrival date.
This outstanding amount should be paid in Euros to the keyholder. This amount will also include the deposit that had to be paid for the apartment.
Currency
Prices shown are in Euros (€) based on rates in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.
Refundable Security Deposit
The Refundable Security deposit of an apartment will be approximately between €150 and €300 and depends on the apartment chose. Enjoy-Apartments does not collect or disperse refundable security deposits. The refundable security deposits are charged for bookings of apartments and have to be handed over to the owner or keyholder on arrival at the apartment. Enjoy-Apartments does not get involved with the refundable security deposits whatsoever. We cannot be held liable for the loss of a refundable security deposit for any reason whatsoever, nor can we be held liable in anyway due to a dispute arising form a refundable security deposit.
The owner or key-holder of the domicile has the right to refuse admittance to guests who do not pay the refundable security deposit if required. On the day of departure of the client the owner or the key-holder is obliged to refund the deposit of guarantee (this excludes demands made for possibly damage caused) only after a checking the accommodation. The refundable security deposit is paid as a guarantee to ensure no damage is done to the accommodation. In the case where an owner retains part of or the complete deposit the owners is requested to hand in a written report on the damages done to justify the retention of the deposit to Enjoy-Apartments.
Invoices
If an invoice is required for the total amount of a reservation, please contact us before making the booking. In those cases, the Spanish V.A.T. (18%) will be added to the total sum of the full amount of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation, including force majeure, will be subject to our cancellation policy.
- Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total balance has to be paid.
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before arrival or no show: 100% of the total balance has to be paid.
The Reservation Down-Payment is non-refundable in any case.
At arrival to the apartment you pay the remaining balance which, once paid, is also, non-refundable.
You may also arrange to pay this prior to your arrival if you prefer.
Booking Cancellations from Enjoy Holidays S.L.
When due to difficulties the apartment of your reservation is not available anymore after your booking we will do our very best to offer you another option at the same cost or similar cost. When you do not except our offer we will refund the reservation down payment and reserve the right to cancel the contract one-sided.
Arrival & Departure
To avoid unnecessary waiting for each other, we ask you to call your key-holder DIRECTLY UPON ARRIVAL to the arrival place indicated in the booking (i.e.: airport). Your key-holder is stated in the Booking Confirmation e-mail. In case you should come by car or bus we ask you to call us when crossing the border. This also counts for travelers arriving by train.
You will then be asked to meet your key-holder at the apartment to get the keys against the rest of the payment cash in Euros.
Apartments are available from 2 p.m. on the date of arrival. If you think you will arrive before earlier you must inform us on time and we will try to find a solution for your luggage.
When you arrive before 11 a.m. it is not always possible to check in to the apartment directly. Sometimes there will be other clients leaving and the apartment needs to be cleaned before your arrival. Departure also will normally take place between office hours. When your flight back does not match the check out we advise you to lock your luggage at the station at Plaza Catalunya, this is also the place where most busses leave to the airport. A representative of Enjoy Apartments or the key-holder will check the apartment, receive the keys from you and give back the full deposit to you if there are no damages and everything is in order.
Surcharge for Early / Late Check-ins and Check-outs
When you arrive or leave before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. we reserve the right to charge you depending on the apartment a certain amount (10-30 euro).
In case you encounter your return flight to be delayed or have any other reason you want to stay longer in the apartment, when informing us before hand this should normally not be any problem. However if this is not possible due to e.g. cleaning that must be done or other guests arriving, we have to ask you to leave at 11 a.m. maximum. In order to be able to meet our check-in / check-out schedule we are forced to charge you if you significantly delay the check-out of the apartment. This charge will be € 50,00 when 1 hour over-time, € 100,00 when 2 hours over-time, and € 150,00 when 3 hours over-time. Any longer period will result in a charge of double the daily rental price of the apartment for the amount of persons staying in the specific apartment. We of course hope to avoid having to put this rule into practice.
Key
They key of the apartment will be handed to you when arriving at the apartment. The responsibility of the key is then yours and we expect you to take good care of it. When the key is lost we have to charge you for making a new key.
Cleaning
The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival. We expect you to take out your own garbage on the streets. When staying longer then one week there is a possibility that we clean the apartment during your stay. Requests should, ideally, be made before your arrival.
During your Stay
We expect you to take care of the apartment and respect the surrounding. Some apartments have specific rules about loudness and breaking furniture of the apartment. All damaging need to be reported when checking out of the apartment. Depending on the damage we will charge you for the repairs.
When there are problems during your stay with the apartment you can give us a call and then we will do our very best to solve the problem. Please notice that complaining afterwards does not make any sense. In most cases we can not refund for the problems that are told afterwards.
Number of Guests
The number of guests should be the same as written in the reservation. It is not aloud to have more persons staying over in the apartment as agreed and paid for. When staying in an apartment with a baby there is always the possibility for having a babygot in the apartment. please let us know when you have interest in renting a babygot.
Pets
In general, none of our apartments allow bringing pets. This is because of many people’s allergy to them. Might you want to bring a pet, please ask us always on forehand.
Liabilities
Neither Enjoy-Apartments nor the owner of the accommodation is responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of your stay in your Enjoy Apartments apartment. This includes damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robery or criminal behaviour, etc.
Litigation
In the event of any litigation arising from the booking of accommodation by Enjoy-Apartments, the Courts in Barcelona (Spain) shall have sole jurisdiction on such arising matters and Spanish law prevalent at the time shall be applied.

Our terms and conditions apply to the booking websites of all destinations. Note that, for translation purposes, our English version is always the ruling version and overrules all other languages.

Reservation Process
You have filled in a Reservation Request on our website. To confirm your Reservation Request, you will be asked to make a Reservation Down Payment. Also we require some personal data, for further information see “Privacy statement”.
The Reservation Down Payment should be paid instantly when the reservation of an accommodation on the website has been completed. The reservation will not be converted into a booking until Enjoy Apartments has received the Reservation Down Payment amount and a completed personal data form. When both are received by Enjoy Apartments the information is sent to the accommodation owner for his/her final approval. Like this we avoid over-bookings. After final approval of the owner, we will send you an email with the Final Booking Confirmation.
By making a booking the prospective customer enters into a contract according to the Terms and Conditions and will be called client from here onwards.
By making a booking with Enjoy Apartments the client also accepts the Terms and Conditions of the owner, which are stated in the Short Stay Rental Agreement of the accommodation chosen. Upon arrival the accommodation manager will ask you to sign these terms and conditions. In case you wish to take notice of the Short Stay Rental Agreement prior to your arrival, please send us an email and we will provide it to you.
Reservation Down Payment
The amount of the Reservation Down Payment will be stated in the email that is sent to you or is shown online when reserving. It is usually around 15-30% of the total amount of your stay excluding all Additional Fees and the Refundable Security Deposit.
The total amount of this Reservation Down Payment is to be paid by bank transfer or by credit card to ENJOY HOLIDAYS S.L.. The bank account number will be provided to you in an email. When choosing for a bank transfer, you must scan a copy of the bank slip and send it to the email address: book enjoy-apartments.com.
Note that we can only hold a reservation during 24 hours from the moment of your Reservation Request. Please make sure to send us the bank slip within this period since we may cancel your reservation and rent the accommodation to other clients.
Final Booking Confirmation
When Enjoy Apartments has received the copy of the bank slip as proof of your bank transfer, we will send you by e-mail our Final Booking Confirmation after the owner's final apporval. The booking is now considered to be confirmed and a valid contract is established.
The client has to verify that all the information in the Final Booking Confirmation email is correct and has to notify Enjoy Apartments within three days of any possible changes. Failure to notify us within this period will mean that the client accepts the reservation as stated. The correction of mistakes due to typing or calculation errors is reserved for Enjoy Apartments.
The client is responsible for all obligations which arise from the contract and will be responsible for all the persons included in his/her reservation.
The Final Booking Confirmation states the Balance Due Upon Arrival.
Also you will find the exact address of the accommodation attached, as well as the name and the phone number of the accommodation manager. Please contact him/her upon your arrival or during your stay in case of questions.
Alteration Requests
In case that the client wishes to change a booking more than three days after he/she has received the Final Booking Confirmation, Enjoy Apartments will charge a fee of €25 administration costs apart from any price increases.
Naturally we will do our very best to comply with your alteration requests. However, we cannot guarantee that we will succeed in it and Enjoy Apartments doesn’t accept any liability for any additional expense, loss or damages that may occur. A change of accommodation is not possible and not considered an alteration but a cancellation. A new booking should be made for this within 3 days of the original reservation so that the reservation down-payment can be re-used. After this period, the Reservation Down-Payment will be lost. All alterations must be made via email or fax. Alterations by phone are not accepted.
Balance Due Upon Arrival
The Balance Due Upon Arrival must be paid in cash directly to the accommodation manager on arrival. It has to be paid in the local currency. Except for destination Curacao where it is required to pay the outstanding balance in advance (4-6 weeks before arrival).
In case you would like to pay the Balance Due Upon Arrival by bank transfer, the costs will be 2,5% in addition to the balance due. The total sum must be received at least 7 days prior to arrival. The Refundable Security Deposit cannot be transferred by bank and always has to be paid in cash upon arrival.
In some cases the Balance Due payment can be done by credit card which incurs a 3% (Visa or MasterCard), or 4% (American Express) additional fee. For more information, please contact us.
In some cases the Balance Due Upon Arrival Payment can also be made via bank transfer provided that:
• the corresponding net amount is received in our bank account 1 week prior to arrival (bank charges are paid for by the guest)
• we have confirmed reception of such amount in writing
In some cases, mainly for longer stays, the owner has the right to charge the first month rental upfront, before the arrival date.
Refundable Security Deposit
The Refundable Security Deposit is paid as a guarantee to ensure no damage is done to the accommodation.
The Refundable Security Deposit of an accommodation will be approximately between €150 and €500 and depends on the accommodation chosen.
The Refundable Security Deposit has to be handed over to the accommodation manager on arrival. Except for destination Curacao where the Refundable Security Deposit is due in advance at the same time the outstanding balance has to be paid (4-6 weeks before arrival). When staying in one of our rentals on Curacao, the Refundable Security Deposit will be returned to you after departure (within two weeks) and, in some cases, the consumption of water & electricity is deducted from the security deposit. Please consult the price information of the accommodation on Curacao you will be staying at for more information about the Refundable Security Deposit .
Enjoy Apartments does not collect or disperse Refundable Security Deposits and does not get involved with the Refundable Security Deposits whatsoever. We cannot be held liable for the loss of a Refundable Security Deposit for any reason whatsoever, nor can we be held liable in any way due to a dispute arising from a Refundable Security Deposit.
The manager of the accommodation has the right to refuse admittance to guests who do not pay the Refundable Security Deposit if required. On the day of departure of the client the accommodation manager is obliged to refund the Security Deposit (this excludes demands made for possibly damage caused) only after checking the accommodation. In the case where an accommodation manager/owner retains part of or the complete deposit he is requested to hand over a written report on the damages occurred to justify the retention of the Refundable Safety Deposit to Enjoy Apartments.
Tourist Tax
Every customer from 17 years and older will be charged with a tourist tax. The charge will be 0,72 eurocent per person/per night up to 7 nights.
Methods of Payment
For the Reservation Down Payment we accept payment by credit cards (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard through our own bank, Amex through Paypal) and by bank transfer.
The Balance Due Upon arrival standard is in cash for all destinations except Curaçao where payment should be done in advance. In some cases it can be done in advance by Bank Transfer or by Creditcard. For more information, please contact us.

Booking Cancellations made by Enjoy Apartments or by the owner
Enjoy Apartments rents out accommodations based on the calendar which is managed by the owner. Enjoy Apartments is not liable for the unavailability of the accommodation which might be due to an overbooking of the accommodation caused by the owner.
In that case, or if due to any other problems, the accommodation you booked is not available, we will do our very best to offer you another option at the same cost or similar cost. When you do not accept our offer we will refund the Reservation Down Payment and reserve the right to cancel the contract one-sided.
Force Majeure
All accommodations that are presented on the websites of Enjoy Apartments are subject to local laws and legal conventions. If, due to the change of those laws any consequences should occur for the Short Stay Rental Agreement, Enjoy Apartments will try to find an alternative accommodation for the client which meets the standards of the originally booked accommodation.
If the client doesn’t agree or no similar offer can be made and the Balance Due Upon Arrival has already been transferred to the owner, the owner will return the payment.
Enjoy Apartments does not accept any liability for the changes of local laws and legal conventions concerning vacation rentals and its consequences for the client or the owner. Compensations will not take place.
Arrival & Departure
To avoid unnecessary waiting for each other, we ask you to call your accommodation manager DIRECTLY UPON ARRIVAL at the airport or alternative arrival place you indicated in the booking. The name and phone number of the manager is stated in the Final Booking Confirmation email. In case you should come by car, train or bus we ask you to call us about 45 minutes before estimated arrival to the accommodation.
You will then be asked to meet your manager at the accommodation to receive the keys against the Balance Due payment cash in the local currency.
Accommodations are available from 3 p.m. on the date of arrival. If you think you will arrive earlier you must inform the accommodation manager or Enjoy Apartments in time so that a solution for your luggage can be found.
When you arrive before 3 p.m. it is not always possible to check- in to the accommodation directly. Sometimes there will be other clients leaving and the accommodation needs to be cleaned before your arrival.
Departure will take place before 11 a.m. A representative of Enjoy Apartments or the accommodation manager will check the accommodation for any damages, receive the keys from you and will return the full safety deposit if there are no damages.
Surcharge for Early / Late Check-ins and Check-outs
In case of arrivals after 9 p.m. a late check-in fee can be charged of €30. After midnight this fee is €50. In case you need to check out from the accommodation before 9 a.m. an extra fee may be charged by the accommodation manager. If this is your case, please directly inform the accommodation manager or Enjoy Apartments about this matter and ask if an additional check-out fee is applied.
Key
They keys of the accommodation will be handed to you when arriving at the accommodation. The responsibility of the keys is then yours and you are expected to take good care of them. If you lose the keys during your stay you will be charged for the replacement and any lock fixtures that need to be done. This will be taken off your Refundable Safety Deposit.
Cleaning
The accommodation will be cleaned before your arrival. We expect you to take care of the accommodation and the provided equipment in a responsible way and to perform a daily cleaning in order to maintain it well. It is your responsibility to take out your own garbage and leave it at the designated area inside the building or in the containers you find on the street. When staying longer than one week an additional cleaning session might be offered or is mandatory, please check the accommodation’s description or inform at Enjoy Apartments. Requests should ideally be made prior to your arrival.
During your Stay
We expect you to take care of the accommodation and the surroundings in a responsible way. Since most of the accommodations are situated in residential buildings, the neighbors and local time habits must be respected and the noise level controlled inside or outside the accommodation, on the staircase and in front of the building. LOUD PARTIES, LOUD MUSIC, SHOUTING, DOOR SLAMMING AND ANY OTHER TYPE OF EXCESSIVE NOISE ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. Any immoral or illegal activities are prohibited. All damage needs to be reported as soon as possible to the apartment manager and at the latest when checking out of the accommodation. Depending on the damage the apartment manager/owner will charge you for the repairs.
The client reserving the accommodation is liable for the correct behavior of all his/her group members. Should problems due to an inappropriate or irresponsible behavior arise, the apartment manager is entitled to request that the client leaves the accommodation immediately, without any compensation and possibly without returning the Refundable Security Deposit. Any additional expenses, i.e. police fines, etc. will have to be paid by the client. By booking the accommodation through Enjoy Apartments the client accepts these Terms & Conditions.
Number of Guests
The number of guests should be the same as written in the reservation. It is not allowed to have more persons staying over in the accommodation as agreed and paid for.
When staying in an accommodation with a baby there is the possibility for having a baby cot in the accommodation. Please let us know when you have interest in renting a baby cot.
Children
As a courtesy of the owners and in agreement with Enjoy Apartments, generally children under 3 years are free of charge and under 12 years are charged half price of adult charge. By saying "under" means that children at the arrival day are not yet 3 years or 12 years respectively. In case if there is more than 1 child under 3 years the owner reserves the right to apply an extra charge.
Please check before reserving and/or consult Enjoy Apartments to exclude possible issues at your check-in.
For reservations regarding destination Curacao we strongly advise you to consult Enjoy Curacao before booking an accommodation with children as there is no general pricing policy handled by the owners. Enjoy Apartments does not accept any responsibility for any financial issues between the client and the owner after the booking is made. Additional costs that might occur for bringing young children which has not been communicated beforehand to Enjoy Apartments/ Enjoy Curacao or the owner have to paid by the client.
Pets
In general, none of our accommodations allow bringing pets. This is because of many people’s allergy to them. Might you want to bring a pet, please always ask us beforehand.
Liabilities
Enjoy Apartments provides an online reservation services which is limited to presenting accommodations as well as to the communication concerning the reservation that results in the Final Booking Confirmation.
Therefore Enjoy Apartments is not responsible for possible accidents, losses, damages, delays, time-table changes, or rate changes that are related to services of our suppliers. This also includes errors and omissions, misinterpretations, disputes between the client and the third parties.
Enjoy Apartments is not a part of the Short Stay Rental Agreement and mediates on behalf of the owner. Any complaints arising during the stay should be addressed to the apartment manager/owner directly. In case of difficulties with reaching them Enjoy Holidays will do its best to help to resolve the issue, but cannot be held responsible for it. All the complaints must be expressed on instance, complaining after some time or after departure does not make sense. All refunds related issues should be resolved between the client and the apartment manager/owner.
Neither Enjoy Apartments nor the apartment manager/owner of the accommodation is responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of your stay in your Enjoy Apartments accommodation. This includes damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behavior, or injuries. We recommend all travelers to take a travel insurance.
Litigation
Enjoy Apartments is a subsidiary of Enjoy Holidays S.L. which is situated in Barcelona, Spain. In the event of any litigation arising from the booking of accommodation by Enjoy Apartments, the Courts in Barcelona (Spain) shall have sole jurisdiction on such arising matters and Spanish law prevalent at the time shall be applied.
