The Souterrain Studio is located, as the name well indicates, in the souterrain of an apartment in a building constructed in 1928. The spacious entrance shows the original glass windows.
The Souterrain Studio is located in the historical city part of Rotterdam, called Delfshaven. Delfshaven is an area where you will find loads of small restaurants and typical brown cafes. This is a part of Rotterdam that is very close to the center. Numerous museums are to be found around the apartment (approximately 10 minutes walking).
At the Nieuwe Binnenweg you will find several supermarkets and great delicatessen stores.
The studio has been rebuilt in 2009 following architecture style and been done up in a mixture of classical design and new furniture. There is a complete modern kitchen equipped with (amongst others) a microwave and induction kitchenette. There is a spacious dining and/or working corner as well as a special bathroom. A kingsize bed is available that can be converted into twinbeds.
The rooms have views over a lushgarden.
